We are more than half way through the year and the summer lull is nearly over – it’s time to make sure your law firm’s employment experts are poised and ready to feature in some of the key features of H2 2015. To make sure you don’t miss any of the most obvious ones, we’ve collated them all for you here.
Make sure you check the scope of external contributions with the editor and, most importantly of all, be prepared to pitch an interesting angle that is both timely and relevant to the readership. The more effort your legal PR team puts in at the beginning, the better your chances of getting that all important name check upon publication.
Don’t forget that pitching an idea for a planned employment law feature, whether that is a case summary or an opinion piece on recent developments, is also an opportunity to introduce your firm to the editor. So even if you don’t make it into the magazine this time, you have hopefully opened the door to a useful working relationship moving forward.
If you don’t already have a legal PR adviser but want the best chances of getting some good employment law coverage, contact Christina Savage.
