RTS Media is proud to announce it has exceeded £1 million advertising value equivalent (AVE) for PR coverage generated during 2015.
Working on behalf of legal, insurance, technology and charity customers, the team has secured coverage across national, regional, broadcast and online media.
The company focuses on generating media opportunities that help brands, personnel and products find a platform to shine.
“We’ve focused very heavily on national and broadcast media in 2015 and this has produced some great results,” says Christina Savage, Director of RTS Media.
“Of course there is still much discussion amongst the PR professionals as to whether advertising value equivalent is an adequate measure PR outcomes.
“We’re certainly not suggesting editorial and advertising are comparable, but as a base measurement it can be helpful.
“We’ll leave that up for discussion, but essentially, the £1m figure is vastly in excess of our target for the year. If you want to benchmark your PR agency’s performance it’s certainly a value worth considering.”

For our charity client Tiny Tickers, we secured a piece in the UK’s number one baby and pregnancy magazine Mother and Baby, a key target for the charity which aims to raise awareness of infant heart conditions.
For Yorkshire Cat Rescue, we’ve been busy writing monthly columns for Your Cat magazine’s Diary of a rescue.
Aside from PR coverage, we’ve also been managing our clients’ social media accounts, creating content marketing campaigns, writing award entries, blogs, reports and newsletters for our insurance clients.
This year we’ve also worked on different filming projects. We highlighted animal welfare with our video project for the Freshfields Animal Rescue in the beginning of the year. We worked on a client video case study for Simpson Millar to draw attention to how immigration laws tear families apart. And we finished the year with an extra special project promoting the amazing work of award winning residential care home provider 3L Care.
